The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has called on the Government to form as soon as possible a team that will fight against the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe (EC).
He added that we must fight as hard as possible to disrupt Kosovo, even though he admitted that the chances are minimal.
"I am asking you to urgently form a team that will fight. We have no chance. That is why a team must be created that will deal with it, will inform everyone about Serbia's position and talk, and I will talk to Macron and at least 10 European leaders. It is important to talk and I don't believe we will succeed. What remains for us is to fight. This adoption of the resolution is not fair," said Vucic. reports " B92 ".
The Serbian president asked his people to work hard with foreign policy and spread their propaganda as much as possible. He added that May 11 will be the deadline and that we must work hard to prevent Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
" I am asking you to get involved in the field of foreign policy, to fight. Where we have countries where we feel we can talk, I will personally call the presidents of those countries. May 11 will be the final, decisive decision in the Council of Europe. I think we still have a small chance, and that is why I am asking you to fight harder than ever. Please commit to it, it is of crucial importance to us. There will be members of EU that have recognized Kosovo and I am sure that we can make sure that they do not vote positively ", said Vučič.
