The Kosovo police have identified the two perpetrators of the explosion that happened yesterday evening in North Mitrovica.
A hand grenade was thrown near one of the bars, at the intersection near the Technical Faculty, injuring two people, one of them in a serious condition.
The Deputy Director of Police for the North region, Veton Elshani, has confirmed for REL that the two perpetrators have been identified and searched in their homes for interview, but they were not found there.
"It is believed that this conflict was the result of previous problems between these people", said Elshani in a written answer.
The director of the Hospital Clinical Center in North Mitrovica, Zlatan Ellek, said that a patient, with the initials NV, is in intensive care, due to injuries received from the explosion. Fortunately, the injured is out of danger.
According to the police, the incident took place at 23:50 on Monday, when three people, of Serbian nationality, two of whom were injured, left a bar known as "Bishevac" in North Mitrovica, and when they left, a vehicle approached, from which a hand grenade was thrown.
