Three border policemen of Kosovo have been kidnapped by the special police unit of Serbia inside the territory of Kosovo.
The Police spokesman, Baki Kelani, has stated that the claims that they were arrested within the territory of Serbia are not true. The policemen were border patrollers and performed their duty at a static point in the territory of Kosovo to prevent the passage of criminal groups and smuggling, including suspected weapons in that area.
The Kosovo Police has published a map of the location of three policemen who were violently abducted by the special police unit of Serbia, within the territory of Kosovo.
Police spokesman, Baki Kelani, said that the three border policemen of Kosovo were kidnapped in a classic way by the special police unit of Serbia.
According to him, their claims that Kosovo policemen were arrested inside the territory of Serbia are not true.
" They kidnapped three Kosovo police officials, patrolmen, in an organized manner. I want to emphasize that a classic kidnapping by the Serbian forces took place. The police would like to emphasize that the border patrol unit has been on official duty, at a static point deep in the territory of Kosovo, they have been performing their official duty, to prevent the passage of criminal groups, to stop smuggling, including suspicions of weaponry in that part ", he said.
