Former KLA fighter, Sami Lushtaku, is detained by the Special Court in Kosovo

Sami Lushtaku, one of the former commanders of the UÇk, currently the vice president of the municipality of Skenderaj, was detained yesterday evening by the police of the Special Court.

The Police of the Specialized Prosecution of Kosovo in The Hague have detained the former commander of the KLA, Sami Lushtaku.

Lushtaku was detained by the Special Police and sent to the EULEX base in Pristina.

The action to arrest Sami Lushtakun was an ongoing action after the raid on Sylejman Selim's house and the confiscation of Hajredin Kuçi's phone.

The news was confirmed by Lushtaku's son, MP Mergim Lushtaku, who said that his father was accompanied by a lawyer to the ELUEX offices.

After the interview, Lushtaku was released.

It is learned that Sami Lushtak's phone was confiscated.
