Kosovo police have arrested two Serbs who had crossed the border illegally.
In the village of Stublinë in the municipality of Gjilan, police units during a regular patrol detained two suspects, citizens of Serbia, on suspicion of illegally crossing the state border.
According to the official announcement from the Kosovo Police, the suspects are suspected of having entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo without authorization and in violation of the border laws in force.
After the arrest, the case was handled in consultation with the competent prosecutor, who decided that the two people should be sent to court for a misdemeanor, in a speedy procedure.
