Chaos in the North, KFOR message to the Serbs: Over 90 soldiers have given their lives to ensure peace in Kosovo

KFOR is staying in the municipalities in the north of Kosovo, since protests by Serbian citizens have been going on for 2 weeks.

These protests were not peaceful as they turned into physical violence, where 30 KFOR soldiers were injured.

In this regard, in the Municipality of Zveçan, KFOR placed a banner with a message to the protesters that read: "KFOR suffered over 90 casualties in our commitment to maintain a safe and secure environment for all communities."

The peacekeeping mission of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) currently has 3,735 troops in Kosovo, coming from 27 countries around the world.

Ukrainian troops are no longer part of KFOR, as they have returned to their country due to the war started by Russia.
