
The first case of the "Nile fever" virus has been confirmed in Kosovo. The news was confirmed by the director of the Infectious Disease Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK), Arben Vishaj, for KosovaPress.
" We have a case that turned out to be positive, but the National Institute of Public Health comes out with accurate data ," Vishaj said.
On Tuesday in Kosovo, the National Institute of Public Health issued some advice and recommendations for the prevention of the West Nile Virus.
Since July, several countries of the European Union and the Western Balkans have reported cases of West Nile Virus: Spain, Italy, Greece, Austria, Hungary, France, Serbia and, finally, Albania.
