Last night, the Kosovo police arrested three suspects for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, including her husband, Naim Murseli, who allegedly ordered her murder.

After the arrests, the Ademaj family declared.

Liridona's brother, Liridon Ademaj, has said that they will exhume the body of their family member, who was buried yesterday in the Murseli family cemetery.

"There is no problem, never. Our sister was honest. If it's true, we will exhume her body from there intentionally or unintentionally," Ademaj told Insider.

He said that they trusted the Murseli family for two days.

"We have given him two days' time, and many have," he declared.

Through the 24-hour report, the Police announced that a pistol with 19 cartridges and a car that were used in the serious crime were found and confiscated.

By the prosecutor's decision, the suspects were taken into custody. The case is classified as "Aggravated murder".

Murseli is suspected of having paid Granit Plava 30,000 euros to kill his wife. It is reported that he had given 15,000 to the serious crime, and another 15,000 after the murder.

It has not yet been officially confirmed, but the media reports are that Plava has admitted guilt for the murder of the 30-year-old, saying that Naim Murseli had ordered the murder and that Murseli has also admitted this to the investigators.

After their arrest, the Police and the State Prosecutor's Office issued a joint communique, where it was said that they were arrested in Gjakovë and that the weapon with which the crime was allegedly committed was seized.

"The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina, informs the public opinion that in coordination with the Kosovo Police, in the wake of intensive investigative actions, regarding the case of dt. 29.11.2023, which was initially assessed as "robbery with consequences of murder", where a woman was left dead, resulted in the arrest of two suspects involved in this case. According to the order of the State Prosecutor and with the approval of the judge of the preliminary procedure, the General Investigations Unit of Pristina, within the Kosovo Police, carried out raids in two locations in Gjakovë, in which case the persons GP were arrested from this action (hand) and NM (husband of the victim), suspected in the murder of the victim, as well as the weapon suspected to have been used in this case was seized", the announcement states.

In connection with the murder of Liridona, Kushtrim Kokalla, who is reported to be Naim Murseli's nephew, has also been arrested.

Kokalla is a member of the Kosovo Security Force. This has been confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.

"Among those arrested as suspects for the murder in Pristina is also a member of the KSF, KK. The judicial bodies are investigating the case, but this case will also be handled within the responsible bodies of the KSF, according to regulations and laws in force", it is stated in the announcement of the Ministry.
