Kurti Vucic sent a message from Sarajevo: There are more Albanians in Serbia

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his visit to Sarajevo last week, gave an interview to the Bosnian media.

In an interview for Hayat television, Kurti spoke about the nervousness in the Serbian Republic due to his visit, saying that he did not think for a moment of canceling this visit.

"At no point did I think of canceling my visit to Sarajevo, which I am returning to after six years and I like coming to Sarajevo, because I have many friends here. I think the reaction from Banja Luka shows the fear and inability to accept the reality, they cannot understand that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a single and unique state. I think that just like Serbia that is blocking the Western Balkans, the Serbian Republic also blocks Bosnia and Herzegovina and holds the whole country hostage because of its fear", stated Kurti.

He emphasized that it is Serbia which, together with Moscow, is holding the entire Balkans hostage.

"Identically and this can be seen in all international conferences, Serbia is holding the Western Balkans hostage because of Moscow and they want the whole region to be their hostage. They hold everything back because they know they can cause instability and they want us all to listen to them. In the same way, the Republika Srpska wants BiH to depend on it and be its hostage", said Kurti.

He emphasized that the problems that exist in the region and Bosnia and Herzegovina were caused by the regimes of Aleksandar Vucic and Milorad Dodik - two satellites of Russia.

Speaking about the association of Serbian municipalities, Kurti said that it is Belgrade's desire to have control over the Serbian ethnicity in Kosovo, who would have their own president as a small Dodik, making Kosovo a non-functional state.

"We will not allow this", said Kurti, adding that the international community is increasingly realizing that Serbia wants such a thing to create a kind of "Serbian Light Republic".

Kurti emphasized that Serbs make up only four percent of the population in Kosovo and not 40 percent as Serbia claims.

"There are more Albanians in Serbia, from Subotica to Preševo, than Serbs in Kosovo. There are more Albanians in Montenegro than Serbs in Kosovo", Kurti emphasized.
