LDK criticizes Kurt for visiting Athens: He only thinks about his electorate
Albin Kurti and Kyriakos Mitsotakis

The visit of Prime Minister Albin Kurti to Athens has been described as a hypocrisy by the opposition parties. The deputy of the Democratic League in Kosovo, Rrezarta Krasniqi, said that before Kurti went to Athens for the informal meeting, he should meet with the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"We are used to the videos of this government, where they do not show anything about their work. They try with some 'fake' videos to make people laugh. Because Prime Minister Kurti first had to meet with the Prime Minister of Albania (Edi Rama), before going to other meetings. It means those videos, what he is doing is only deceiving his 51 percent. Until now, it is a failure in every subject of this government", she said.

The LDK deputy adds that the video of Kurt shaking hands with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenksy, is like other videos: "to throw ashes in the eyes" of the citizens.

Until now, it is a failure in every subject of this government", said Krasniqi.

Krasniqi also criticized the work of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, whom he says he will invite to report at the beginning of the autumn session.

"I request that when the autumn session starts, the Minister of Foreign Affairs comes and reports to the Commission for European Integration. To show how for three years there has been no lobbying, no recognition from international organizations and no recognition from countries that still do not recognize Kosovo, but we have only had stagnation. We have had sanctions from the European Union and the United States of America, instead of coming and reporting on progress, we have only had regression in this government".

The Chairperson of the Commission for European Integration, Rrezarta Krasniqi, considers that there was no transparency in the dialogue process, nor in the agreement reached in Bratislava.
