The next Bërdo-Brijun summit stopped in Skopje, North Macedonia. President Stevo Pendarovski welcomed one by one all the heads of state of Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during the bilateral meetings she held today, also spoke about the measures imposed by the EU on Kosovo.
"I have discussed them in the bilateral meetings I had with President Pendarovski where I informed him about the steps that the Republic of Kosovo has taken to improve the situation and the challenges we are facing.
"Also, with President Milanović, we discussed above all that the EU should remove the measures in relation to Kosovo that are not proportional. We expect the countries that have supported us as strongly as Croatia to take the first steps to initiate the removal of these measures", said Vjosa Osmani.
She added that Kosovo continues to play a role in contributing to the future of the Balkans.
"Kosovo continues to play an active role in contributing to the future of our region and is committed to our Euro-Atlantic path ," she said.
