The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, said today that the member states, not the Government of Kosovo, decide to remove the punitive measures that the bloc has imposed on Kosovo.
In response to Stano's statement, the spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Perparim Kryeziu, has published two photos that prove the fulfillment of the conditions set by the EU.
In one photo you can see the clash of Serbs with KFOR troops, in the other photo you can see the head of the Municipality of Zveçan, Ilir Peci, who is seen entering the facility of the Municipality unhindered by anyone.
According to the Government spokesperson, de-escalation has taken place and adds that as a result the measures should be lifted.
The case is simple. The EU imposed measures against Kosovo b/c it blamed us, unfairly, for the escalation that prompted photo 1.
