
Of the 20,324 voters registered to vote at diplomatic missions, 14,463 citizens voted, not including Voting Centers in Washington, Ottawa, Toronto and New York.
The Central Election Commission has announced that over 70% of the diaspora has exercised its right to vote, including in countries where voting has already ended and data as of 3:00 PM US and Canadian time.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniçi, at the fourth conference on the voting process in the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kosovo.
" Out of 20,324 voters registered to vote at the polling station and from the data we have on participation as of 3:00 PM in the US and Canada, we inform you that 14,463 voters or 71.16% voted in this process ," he said.
" We inform you that as of 19:20 local time in our country, voting for the representations in 26 diplomatic missions, which are located in 17 different countries, has been completed. The voting process is continuing in 4 other representations located in the USA and Canada and is expected to end at 1 am local time ," he said.
Radonić said that the voting process took place without any difficulties or problems. He indicated that after the general vote counting process is completed, the counting of diaspora votes will begin.
The head of the CEC has called on all citizens to vote tomorrow, February 9th.
