The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, in a meeting.
They discussed the deepening of relations between the two countries, while Osmani repeated the invitation for her Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to visit Kosovo.
According to the announcement of the Presidency, Osmani requested Turkey's support for the integration of Kosovo in international organizations.
"With Deputy Minister Kemal Bozay, President Osmani discussed bilateral cooperation, the organization of a business forum of the two states, as well as cooperation in the field of foreign policy, defense, security, health and other areas of mutual interest. President Osmani has repeated the invitation to her counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for a visit to the Republic of Kosovo, at a convenient time for both parties", it was announced in the communique.
Political and security developments in the country were also discussed in this meeting.
"President Osmani emphasized that the presence of the Kosovo Special Police in and around the municipal facilities in the north has already been reduced, while the work continues to complete the legal infrastructure for holding new elections in the four municipalities of the north through the citizens' petition," it says . in the communique.
