An armed group, which according to the authorities consisted of about 30 people, attacked the Kosovo Police in Banjska in Zveçan on September 24, killing Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku.

The police said that three suspected attackers were killed during the exchange of fire in the monastery of Banjska, where this armed group took refuge.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has accused Millan Radoicic, vice president of Lista Serbe, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo, of having organized and participated in the attack.

On September 26, Sveçla published a video recorded by a drone, which allegedly shows an armed Radoiçiqi in Banjska.

Lista Serbe, the party that has the support of Belgrade, nor the institutions in Serbia have not reacted to Kosovo's accusations about Radoicic's alleged involvement.
