The Kosovo Police Union has already lost hope that there will be an increase for dangerousness. It is the seventh month that the Kosovo Police has not been paid for the dangerousness allowances and it is still not known if they will be paid.
The President of the Kosovo Police Union, Imer Zeqiri, says that another concern is the voluntary resignation of members of the Kosovo Police.
The head of this union has called on the relevant institutions to respond to their demands, otherwise the number of resignations will be quite large.
Zeqiri says that despite numerous calls to the institutions, they have not yet received an answer as to whether the risk supplements will be executed.
Zeqiri says that due to the bad conditions in the Kosovo Police, this year alone there are about 50 voluntary resignations.
Also, for the dissatisfaction of the police officers regarding the working conditions, this union started a month ago with union actions by submitting a petition to the Assembly, which was signed by 62% of the members of the KP.
The same are waiting for reflection from the Government.
Among other things, Zeqiri mentions the demands presented in the petition.
We remind you that the operative fleet and the workers of the Operational Support Department in the Kosovo Police protested on Tuesday at their workplaces, expressing their dissatisfaction with the salaries, namely for the non-adjustment of the value of the coefficients of the work positions.
The wage law, which has been in force since February, had determined the value of the wage coefficient in the public sector at 105 euros.
However, this law, at the request of the People's Advocate, has been sent to the Constitutional Court.
In this regard, the People's Advocate received complaints from the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Kosovo Judicial Council, municipal education officials, nurses, doctors, the Kosovo Police Union, the Central Election Commission and other institutions and organizations.
