Four people have been arrested and at least 4 kg of cocaine was seized during an anti-drug operation in Ferizaj, Kosovo.
Initial reports indicate that the arrested are two Albanian citizens and two Kosovo citizens, suspected of involvement in the trafficking of hard narcotics.
Sources report that during the operation, checks were carried out in several locations, where in addition to the considerable amount of cocaine, the following were also seized:
cash, cell phones, vehicles, as well as other material evidence suspected of being related to criminal activity.
The suspects have been arrested and escorted to the police station, while it is expected that further procedural measures will be taken by order of the State Prosecutor.
Investigations are ongoing and it is not excluded that the action will be extended to other persons involved in this drug trafficking network.
