Kosovo's ambassador to Great Britain, Ilir Kapiti, and the Western Balkans analyst from the "New Europe" Institute, Jakub Bielamowicz, have come to the defense of the British MP, Alicia Kearns, who was threatened by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the day before her statements that Serbia is smuggling weapons in ambulances to Orthodox churches in Kosovo.
The ambassador of Kosovo in London, Ilir Kapiti, in a post on Twitter, writes that Aleksandar Vučič, the infamous minister of information at the time of Slobodan Milosevic, is known for his cunning skills for orchestrating complex schemes.

Meanwhile, expert on the processes in the Western Balkans, Jakub Bielamowicz emphasizes that it is a shameful attack by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who is threatening MP Kearns with an investigation for her statements.

Even the German MP, Michael Roth, has come to the defense of the British MP.

Ndryshe, ditë më parë është ngritur një debat në opinion lidhur me pretendimet për kontrabandë të armëve nga Serbia për në Kosovë përmes autoambulancave.
Deputetja britanike, Alicia Kearns pak ditë më parë ka thënë se Serbia kontrabandon armë me autoambulanca drejt kishave ortodokse në Kosovë.
Ajo madje tha se për këtë është në dijeni KFOR-i.
Por, KFOR-i të mërkurën në një përgjigje për Telegrafin mohoi një gjë të tillë. KFOR-i ka theksuar se nuk ka asnjë provë për atë që është raportuar, dhe se deputetja i referohet ngjarjes së vitit 2022, kur Batalioni Mbretëror Fusilier (regjiment ushtarak britanik), u punësua në Kosovë.
“Nuk ka asnjë dëshmi në lidhje me kontrabandën e supozuar të kryer përmes vijës kufitare administrative ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Serbisë në kishat ortodokse me autoambulanca”, deklaroi KFOR-i.
Meanwhile, after the statements of the British MP, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, reacted, threatening Kearns with investigations against her.
He said Kearns "is known for her anti-Serbian activities".
"Now, along with the police actions, they are introducing new elements, which is an attack on two other pillars of the Serbian people in Kosovo, the Serbian Orthodox Church and health."
Vucic said that an investigation has also been launched against her.
"Don't worry madam, we're already conducting an investigation against you to see why you're doing this, if the UK government doesn't react, we're bound to," Vucic said .
