A gas cylinder explodes in an apartment in Mitrovica, 13 injured

An explosion occurred on Saturday afternoon in a house in the village of Kčič in Mitrovica, where 13 people were injured as a result.

This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Mitrovica region, Avni Zahiti.

He said that based on the first information, it is suspected that the explosion occurred from a gas cylinder.

Among other things, Zahiti announced that the injured have been sent for medical treatment to Mitrovica Hospital.

"Around 4:30 p.m., the police received information that as a result of an explosion in a house in the village of Kciq in Mitrovica, 13 people were injured. The injured were sent for medical treatment to the Mitrovica Regional Hospital. Based on the first information, it is suspected that the explosion occurred from a gas cylinder", he said.
