A day after yesterday's events where the Kosovo police were attacked by Serbian terrorist groups, with people killed, injured and arrested, the general situation in Bajnska i Zveçani today is calm and without tension.
An armored police vehicle is standing at the crossroads of the road leading to the Bajnska monastery, where the attacks took place on Sunday, while no one is allowed to move in this direction, including journalists.
It is learned that police operations in search of terrorists in this area are continuing, KosovaPress reports.
EULEX vehicles, as well as those of the Kosovo Police, and sometimes KFOR, are constantly visiting this part of the north of the country, while during the day a KFOR helicopter was also observed, observing the situation from the air. .
Meanwhile, sources for KosovaPress inform that the police have not yet managed to take full control inside the monastery, so it is suspected that there may still be one of the terrorists there, either injured or even killed.
According to these sources, about one kilometer in the area around the monastery, an abandoned vehicle without license plates was also found today, which was full of Serbian-made weapons.
During a media conference, the Kosovo Police presented an arsenal of weapons and other equipment, including camouflaged KFOR vehicles, uniforms, maps, euro coins, food and medicine and many other military equipment, which the armed group carried in the village of Banjské .
