The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the special emissary of Germany for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, in a meeting. The main topic of this meeting was the security situation in Kosovo, after the September 24 terrorist attack where police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed. Kurti said that the attack was organized and supported by official Belgrade.
"The evidence collected during the investigations carried out after the criminal and terrorist attack, proves and proves the direct involvement of the state institutions of Serbia in this act of aggression against the Republic of Kosovo, for which Serbia should be sanctioned and punished internationally", said Kurti .
Kurti thanked the emissary Sarrazi, for his visit and his intense commitment regarding the tensions in the north.
"After the failure of the armed attack with the paramilitary formations led by Milan Radoicic, the march and deployment of Serbian military troops along the border with Kosovo was the next step of the institutions of Serbia to threaten the territorial integrity of our country and support an aggression of possible military action against the Republic of Kosovo. On the other hand, the Kosovo Police, through the exercise of its constitutional and legal powers, remains engaged and committed to guaranteeing security for all citizens in the municipalities in the north of the country and cooperation with our international partners and allies", said Kurti . .
