The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has spoken about the tensions in the north of Kosovo.
He said that it is the Serbian president Aleksandër Vucic who is behind the violent protests, but unfortunately the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is falling into his trap.
"No citizen, no resident of Kosovo can feel good when for the first time in the history of our existence we can have such harsh punishments and denunciations from all levels of QUINT member states and especially from the USA , up to the level of the Secretary of State, Mr. Blinken, who blames Kosovo and demands that the violent measures be stopped, are sentences that do not make anyone feel good, but in this case the responsibility lies with the Prime Minister who made the decisions with his head without consulting anyone and contrary to the demands of our partners.
Normally, I know exactly and I believe better than Mr. Kurti what actions the criminal structures have taken in the north of the country for years, but why should the Prime Minister of Kosovo fall into the trap of Aleksandër Vucic, that is the question," he said. Krasniqi.
