Naim Murseli, accused of ordering the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023, has filed a request to meet his children and businessman Behgjet Pacolli.
The court announced that it has contacted the Swedish authorities regarding the children's issue and is awaiting a response from them.
Meanwhile, the request for communication with Pacolli has not been approved, as according to the explanation given at the hearing, the law does not allow contact with persons who fall into prohibited categories.
There is still no information on the reasons that prompted Murseli to request a meeting with Pacolli. In 2017, he served as an advisor during the time when Pacolli headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We have contacted the Swedish authorities and I am awaiting their response. As for the request you made to communicate with Behgjet Pacolli, it is a request that is not allowed because it falls into the category of persons that the law does not allow," the Court told him.
Three people are being tried for the murder of the 30-year-old: Naim Murseli, Granit Pllana and Kushtrim Kokalla.
