The Basic Court in Ferizaj today sentenced Dardan Krivaqa to life imprisonment for the murder of 18-year-old Marigona Osmani. While Arbër Sejdiu was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
At the moment when the judge announced the decision for Krivaqa, Osmani's family members welcomed the decision with applause as they said: "Well done for this poor dog".
Marigona Osmani's mother, also coming out of the session, addressed Krivaqa, saying: "Ishalla never sees the light, you killed my 18-year-old daughter".
In addition to violence, Krivaqa and Sejdiu were also accused of complicity in crime, but the Court acquitted them of the charge, "since not a single piece of evidence has proven that the accused committed this criminal offense."
"The accused Dardan Krivaqa is acquitted of the indictment for the criminal offense "Rape", since no single evidence has proven that the accused committed this criminal offence. The accused Arbër Sejdiu is acquitted of the indictment for the criminal offense of "Assisting in the commission of the criminal offense of Rape", as no single evidence has proven that the accused committed this criminal offence", said the chairman of the court .
