The President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, held a meeting with the Serbs of Kosovo, while he spoke about the tense situation in the municipalities with a Serbian majority.

According to Serbian media, Lista Srpska has informed President Vucic that they will continue their protests in the north of Kosovo.

The representatives of Lista Serbe, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo, said after the meeting that they went to Belgrade to inform Vucic about the "extremely difficult" situation not only in the north, but also south of the Iber River.

Vucic himself had warned that he would meet with the representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo from June 9 to 12.

The third request of the Serbian List, according to Rakič, is the withdrawal of special units of the Kosovo Police from municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo.

The former head of the municipality of Zveçan, Dragisha Millovic, has stated that they are in favor of de-escalation of the situation, of a peaceful solution and reaching compromises, also according to him they have Vučić that the local Serbs in Kosovo are continuing the protests.

"We informed the president that we are continuing the peaceful and democratic protests. Today is the 17th day of protests. Our citizens are staying 24 hours a day to fight for their legitimate, legal and basic human rights," Millovic said.
