Here are the results in the main municipalities of Kosovo...

Unlike the general elections, Kosovo appears to be moving at a rapid pace when it comes to counting votes for local elections.

Today, citizens voted for leaders in 38 municipalities. The vote count is nearing its end and a large portion of municipalities will go to runoffs.

It should be noted that Kosovo has a system in which the winner is declared the one who has over 50 percent of the votes. If no one achieves this, there is a second round between the 2 most voted candidates. 

Pristina goes to the runoff, as well as Peja, Prizren, Suhareka, Gjakova, etc. In Pristina, LDK's Përparim Rama is "head to head" with VV's Hajrulla Çeku. 

While the municipalities with over 50 percent are Deçan where AAK won, Istog where LDK won, Kamenica where VV won, Leposaviq where Srpska Lista won, Ferizaj where PDK won, etc.
