The senior NATO official "lands" in Kosovo, meets with Kurti and Osmani

The Assistant Secretary General of NATO, Thomas Goffus, arrived in Kosovo today and held a meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with the Commander of KFOR, Angelo Michele Ristuccia.

No statement has yet been issued by the parties regarding the meeting, but the focus of the talks is thought to have been the tensions in the north and the de-escalation of the situation.

Meanwhile, after the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Thomas Goffus, was also received by President Vjosa Osmani. Goffusi's meeting with Osmani started around 16:30, half an hour later than it was announced.

The media were allowed to participate only at the beginning of the meeting and then the talks were held behind closed doors.
