The senior US official calls Kurti, the Prime Minister of Kosovo gives signals for new elections in the North

After Brussels, the Americans have also moved in order to end the tensions in the North of Kosovo.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti had a telephone conversation with the Deputy National Security Advisor of the United States, Jon Finer. In this call, Kurti warned that he has agreed to new elections in the northern municipalities of the country.

" I thanked him for his phone call and expressed my commitment to work with the US to reduce tensions. This calls for an immediate end to Belgrade-sponsored mob violence against security officers until new elections in those municipalities ," Kurti wrote on Twitter.
