At first glance, treason seems like independent behavior. This can be interpreted like this: You are doing what you want, when you want. But cheating is an addictive behavior. A cheater is addicted because they are not strong enough to break up with their significant other in order to leave with someone else.
3. Confusion
Sometimes life or a particular situation can shake your character. When the perfect storm of confusion occurs in your head, you can make mistakes.
4. Because they let you
Some think that if they were betrayed, they would break up immediately. Forgiving a cheater is like making a deal with him to happen again, starting a vicious cycle. The betrayed person can lose respect by allowing it to happen again.
5. Treatment
If someone has been abused, then their first instinct is to get away from him or her. But sometimes it is not so simple, maybe you have to raise children together. If you feel trapped in a bad relationship, it's only natural that you would jump into the open arms of a person who treats you well.
6. Revenge
This is quite simple: 'An eye for an eye'. You betray him, if he betrays you. If he repeatedly hurts you or abuses you in some way, you do the same to get revenge.
7. Confirmation of attractiveness
Sometimes when you're in a long-term relationship, or if your partner finds you ordinary, you start to wonder if you're still attractive. Maybe, because you felt more attractive when you were alone. You have proven that a new person may be attracted to you.
8. Fiction
Some people just enjoy cheating, running undercover, taking risks, getting caught, creating conspiracies, as well as creating exciting moments.
9. They consider it more of a romance than a betrayal
You may have your own boundaries, but do they match your partner's? For some, the limits of infidelity go so far that it seems as if you will never see them.
