The evening of August 8 at the "Nona" festival in Përmet, an event dedicated to Albanian grandmothers, took an unexpected turn during the performance of singer Anxhela Peristeri. The artist, invited to sing at this celebration, was initially welcomed with enthusiasm and applause, but an incident on stage left a 'bitter taste' among those present.
During the performance, a person from the audience hit the singer with a can. The moment quickly went viral on social media, especially on TikTok, where a video circulated showing the immediate reaction of the event's host, Bled Mane.
In the widely shared video, Mane is heard asking for parental intervention:
3 minutes, get off the stairs. 3 minutes, the lights go out, the festival is canceled and I'm not coming to Përmet. Dear parents, get your children off the stairs. It's a shame, we'll go down in history. This concert cost 100 thousand euros. If I see any child doing those things, the festival is canceled. Anxhela, forgive me, welcome to Përmet!
He then requested the intervention of the Municipal Police.
