
The Appeals Prosecution has appealed the second instance court decision that acquitted Luiz Ejllin, the singer and recently actor from Shkodra.
Ejlli was sentenced to 1 year in prison by the first instance for the criminal offense of forging documents. This decision was appealed to the second instance, where the Appeals Court, on May 8, 2025, decided to declare him not guilty. The file in his charge is now at the High Court, while Sokol Binaj has been appointed rapporteur for the case.
Along with Luiz Ejllin, Fatmir Avdurramani was also convicted, the person who had benefited from the act committed by Ejllin, while the latter was not a notary, but used the seal. The latter turns out to have been previously convicted in Italy for the criminal offense of prostitution, while in 2021 the seizure of assets was signed, while in 2022 his assets were confiscated./ OraNews
