Big Basta and Kelly bring back the famous hit "Nuk di" in a new version, titled "Pa ty", bringing a different perspective on separation and the pain that a man feels after a divorce. This collaboration is not just a nostalgic throwback, but a song that emotionally touches every listener.
In the Wake Up studio, Big Basta showed:
"Divorce often weighs heavily on the man, who is supposed to be strong. We wanted to show his feelings, because usually songs about divorce are seen from a female perspective. We wanted to deepen the emotion, not just with the lyrics, but with the whole situation."
Kelly added that this comeback is also a response to fan requests:
"The version with Big Basta was perfect. The song talks about separation and the pain that comes with divorce, but this time from the husband's perspective. It's a feeling that everyone understands, but rarely hears expressed in music."
The artists emphasized the importance of returning to old songs, showing that nostalgia and old sounds have a special power. Big Basta said:
"Hip Hop has always taken inspiration from old songs. Nostalgia always works, and that's what we want to bring to the audience."
