"Shkodra Elektronike" with "Zjerm" will represent Albania in the biggest music festival in Europe "Eurovision".
"Shkodra Elektronike" secured the first place in the 63rd edition of the Song Festival.
The song "Zjerm" received a total of 143 points in the voting divided 50% by the jury and 50% by the public.
Elvana Gjata was ranked second with "Carnival", collecting 135 points, while Alis secured third place with the song "Mjegull", with 59 points.
First, the votes of the professional jury were counted, which repeated the final result with "Shkodra Elektronike" in first place, Elvana Gjata in second place and Alis in third place.
The ranking was overturned by the vote of the diaspora, who voted for the first time at this festival, giving the majority of votes to Elvana Tjäta and ranking "Shkodra Elektronike" in second place. The singer Alis again kept the third place.
It was the counting of SMS messages from Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia that ultimately gave "Shkodra Elektronike" the Grand Prize.
"Shkodra Elektronike" will now prepare for the big challenge at Eurovision 2025.
