Cardi B was 'fighting for her life' ahead of her New Year's Eve performance.
The 31-year-old, who recently split from husband Offset, went to Miami for a concert at a hotel, but told fans she felt bad.
In an Instagram Story video posted before the concert, she told her 169 million fans: “I'm fighting for my life. I'm really doing it."
"I am very sick and I don't understand why. When I was in New York I went out in sweaters, toes out. I was fine."
"I just got down to Miami ... I've been telling people I'm allergic to Miami," she said, teasing the Floridians a bit. "I'm allergic to Florida. I am allergic to this country. It doesn't even make sense. 4 hours after landing, I had a cough, chest tightness. I've been fighting for 3 days and I have a concert after that. Important performance, I know it's New Years, but it's really important. And I'm fighting."
Cardi managed to get on stage and give an unforgettable performance despite her allergy.
