The well-known artist from Shkodran, Federik Ndoci, has shared an interesting story from the year 2000 related to Parashqevi Simaku.
According to Ndoc, everything started when Dem Balidemaj, an Albanian engaged in the artistic community, proposed to him to perform at the New Year 2000 celebrations, in an event where well-known artists such as Gëzim Nika, Aurela Gaçe, Vera Uruçi would participate. and Parashqevi Simaku. Despite a double offer from another Italian friend to perform in Madison Square, Ndoci kept his word.
Things took an unexpected turn on December 27, when Simaku requested a private conversation with the organizer and declared that he did not agree to perform with Ndoci.
"I told him that he ruined my nights and it's late, because for the New Year I always organized something like this myself," Ndoci confesses, adding that he decided to leave the project.
According to the artist, on January 1, 2000, Dem Balidemaj called him to tell him that the evening was ruined, as Parashqevi Simaku had suffered an incident during the performance and had been taken to the hospital.

Another not very professional case, I will not leave it without mentioning.
One of the very positive Albanians from the Dem Balidemaj community calls me and proposes to me for New Year's Eve and January 1, 2000. After I ask him, he tells me 'all the artists who will participate are Gëzim Nika, Aurela Gaçe, Vera Uruçi, Parashqevi Simaku, I absolutely agreed.
Every day, an Italian friend who had a bar in Madison Square on the third floor called me to be present on December 31, 1999. Ask as much as you want, but since I had given the floor to Dema, it was out of the question. On December 27th, a gathering of all the artists and orchestras that we had a contract with Dema will take place. I met everyone but Vivi hadn't come yet. We were waiting when: he comes waving at the door and asks for a little private conversation with Dema. Gets up, Dema comes out and after 10 minutes appears at the door with a yellow face and asks for me personally. He comes out and asking me to forgive me several times, he told me that Vivi does not accept me with you these two nights.
I told him that my nights are ruined and it's late, since every year I personally organize something like this.
He told me 'here's the check'. I entered the room, met with everyone without proclaiming to them the objective reason that was not positive. I went to the door, I remember Dema's daughter who was crying and I said to Dema: I'm sorry but I'm ruining New Year's Eve with them. I went out and as soon as I got into the car, I asked my Italian friend who screamed with joy that I would be in his bar with 31. He paid me twice the check. So, on the one hand, Vivi did me a personal honor, because I got three times what I used to get every year.

Njeriu nuk asht e drejtë të vlersojë dikë nga thash e themet, por nga të vërtetat që njeh dhe i provon personalisht.
Titulli, termi, nocioni, privilegji, sllogani, etiketa me qenë ‘artist’ ndryshon kryekëput në të vërtetat e meritës së lindur, të fituar e shpesh të pa merituar.
Kemi artiste mediash që me tri katër javë në TV, parakalojnë artiste që u asht dasht nji jetë me arritë nëe pozicion që me ndihmën e medias, ose programi artistik, ose me taraf, ose me para, ose me meritokraci politikash, ose me tekat e prindërve që përfituan nga një rastësi, për t’u bërë të pasur.
Artisti i lindur është i thjeshtë.
Ai qan pa e parë asnjeri, por shfaqet si i lumtur.
Nuk është aspak i kënaqur me atë çfarë debutoi dje. I njeh defektet e tij dhe kupton më shpejt hipokrizinë e pseudo dashamirësve ose të paaftëve që ia rrahin shpatullat.
Është më e lehtë të jesh artiste femër.
Mundësia për të qenë shumë e mirë nuk varet aspak nga të lindurit apo aftësia, por nga fiziku i saj, nga bukuria. Artistet tona ndryshojnë nga bota, sepse bukuroshet në bote, as nuk e provojnë të kendojnë pasi u duket njeë rruge ma e gjatë, e veshtirë dhe pa fund të bukur. Ato bëhen Striptiza nëpër klube nate, ndërsa bukuroshja ballkanike ban çmos t’i shkëputet termit striptizë nëe lokal nate sepse do teë keqtrajtohej si putanë. Ajo zgjedh të jetë putanë e rafinuar që me një mikrofon në dorë të këndojë, me ndihmën e teknologjisë që axhuston çdo notë dhe inteligjenca e teknologjisë e nxjerr perfekt vokalin.
Tani gjoksi i saj, kofshët, tangat, janë refreni, kanga ma e bukur që dëgjon mashkulli i shkatërruar nga stërmundimi 15 orësh gjatë ditës së punës. Ai nuk ka kohë as të lexojë, as të arsyetojë përse Zoti bëri këtë Evën e kohëve moderne pa mollë, por me mikrofon dhe nuk thellohet nëse vërtet asht artiste apo një striptizo-artiste ballkanase.
