The biographical film "Michael" is continuing its extraordinary success in world cinemas, surpassing the figure of approximately 646 million euros in global box office receipts and returning to the top of the international box office.
According to industry data, over the past weekend alone, the film has earned nearly 53 million euros from 83 markets outside the US , consolidating its performance in key international markets.
In the United States, “Michael” has grossed around 259 million euros, while international markets have added another 387 million euros . Experts estimate that the success is expected to continue to grow, as the film has not yet been released in Japan, one of the most important markets for musical and biographical productions.
Industry forecasts suggest the film could even challenge the records of Bohemian Rhapsody , which has grossed around €838 million globally.
Meanwhile, "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is also proving to be a great success, with around 500 million euros in global box office receipts , while "Mortal Kombat 2" is performing worse , having failed to meet market expectations.
"Sheep Detective" also continues to run in theaters with average results, still remaining below the production budget.
