The well-known singer Alma Bektashi, although not for the first time, has again confessed in an interview details of the separation with her ex-husband, which was caused by the latter's betrayal.
She says that even though it has been 3 years since the separation, the divorce proceedings are still not over.
"The divorce is not over yet, it was my wish for the new year that this year would end, but it didn't," said Alma.
She said that betrayal is "intolerable" for her, as she calls it disrespect on the part of her partner.
While being asked by the moderator how she coped with the betrayal, the singer said that at first she thought that something was wrong with her, that her husband had betrayed her, but then she realized that everything was a result of lack of communication.
"You're surprised that the first thing you think is: where did you go wrong, what didn't go well?! I have not heard of healthy relationships between couples in Albanian lands. The couples here do not communicate, they go to breakfast, drink that coffee very quickly and go to work, then no I'm going out with friends, no I'm going to drink a coffee and the woman does everything herself."
"I don't want you to tell me 'I love you' 50 times a day, when the deeds are nowhere, that word I love you has become like good morning." When you say the word 'I love you' or 'I love you' it's a big word," the singer emphasizes, among other things.
Then Alma was asked if she would like to have remained friends with her ex-partner, but she stated that in her case it is difficult as she calls her ex-husband a narcissist.
"In my case it is very difficult to deal with a narcissist, with a person who only loves himself, it is very difficult to understand," she concludes.
In another interview a few months ago, Alma Bektashi said that even though she had doubts about what was happening, she had learned the news from the portals.
Therefore, considering the breach of trust of her ex-husband, she decided to end her marriage.
"I do not tolerate disrespect, things that are not healthy in a relationship. Being categorical, 0 tolerance for betrayal, I made the decision. I found out through the portals. I had my doubts, I had heard, but I don't trust them without seeing things for myself. It is difficult when you are a professor, in concerts, shows, even in such cases you expect absolute understanding. But seeing that trust is wavering in the family, I don't believe that I should forgive... I may also have criticism from the public, but without going through my skin, you don't understand," said the well-known singer.
