After the accusations made public by Shqipe Hysenaj, who attacked singer Parashqevi Simaku, saying that she "took other women's husbands," the artist's reaction has finally arrived.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, Simaku says she has remained silent for about 10 months, despite the constant attacks and slander, but has now decided to speak out. "For 10 months, my name has been used as a target for people trying to attract attention through slander and untruths. I never thought I would have to react to such low things," she writes.
The artist also recalls the periods of the '80s, when, according to her, she faced the same climate of envy and anger, due to the awards she won with dedication and hard work. "Even then, as today, I chose not to stop," she emphasizes.
"I continue my path with dignity and the truth on my side. My audience has known me for years and knows very well who I am, what I have given and what I represent. If for a few clicks you choose to bring someone else down with slander, be sure that at that moment you are only bringing yourself down," Simaku concludes his reaction.
