Robert Aliaj Dragoti has spoken for the first time about his life as an immigrant in Greece. He said that he lived in the neighboring country for 6 years, but while he was there he was arrested and this caused him to leave Greece.
As he said, he was arrested after "bumping" with a Greek priest.
He said that he was invited for an interview and the priest was also in the studio, with whom he argued. The farmer said that the latter spoke to him in a discriminatory language, which led to a conflict between them.
"I lived for almost 6 years in Greece, I had a great time. I had good social connections until I was invited to a TV show. I was invited for an interview, where there was also a priest in the studio, who denigrated me during the interview. He spoke to me in a very racist language, with pure discrimination. I told him, you are a priest, you are a "man of God", you preach peace, but you are speaking with hatred, you are not "anti-Albanian", but "anti-Greek". It was a very big clash and after I finished the interview I was arrested. The video no longer exists because it is about the years 1994, but it was an interview that caused a sensation at that time, it was seen by many Albanians living in Greece", said Roberti.
