On Kosovo's Independence Day, an extremely emotional moment was recorded inside the Big Brother VIP Albania house, where Brikena resident shared a touching story about her family history.
Unlike other residents, who celebrated by singing patriotic songs about Kosovo, Brikena chose to remain seated and shed tears during the celebratory moment. Later, in the “Confession Room,” she explained the reason for her emotional reaction.
The resident said that the Kosovo war left deep personal scars on her, as she lost several family members during that difficult period. "I lost several family members in the Kosovo war. Every time I hear these songs, I am deeply moved," she said through tears, recalling the pain her family experienced.
Despite the sadness, Brikena stressed that he feels pride and happiness for Kosovo's journey over the years.
"We are happy today, knowing what the circumstances were," she added, highlighting the sacrifices made for freedom.
Her story has touched not only the residents inside the house, but also the public, recalling the wounds of the war and the importance of this day for many Albanians wherever they are.
