It is now official! The marriage between Paolo Bonolis and Sonia Bruganelli has ended after 25 years.
Through an interview published in 'Vanity Fair', the couple spoke for the first time about the topic of their separation, highlighting the reasons for this decision. Bruganelli said:
'There are no third parties involved. We are parents and we will continue to spend the holidays together, maintaining the same routine".
Bonolis says that the woman has encountered difficulties to stay in a situation that no longer suited his needs.
"Sonia tried to adapt, until it was no longer possible to continue like this. We talked, she explained her reasons and I understood."
Despite the disappointment, Bonolis said how other people's lives don't necessarily have to match one's expectations. Bruganelli reveals that he is no longer able to live with enthusiasm certain dynamics of married life.
"Since my father died, I have projected the connection I had with him onto Paolo, turning him into a friend, a confidant. We got engaged when I was 23, he was a mature man. Only with the passage of time and facing certain situations, we understood our differences".
A peaceful divorce
Although the crisis of their marriage was denied two months ago, the couple reveals that:
"It was news that we had to communicate with the legal team. They ensure that there will be no legal battles, thus distancing themselves from other couples who have fueled rumors with their legal disputes.
Sonia says she already has Rolex bags and watches, but Paolo counters: 'I prefer other things in life'.
We remember that this is Paolo Bonoli's second marriage that ended in divorce. Apparently, Bonolis is a very successful presenter, but not at all in his private life.
