Sean "Diddy" Combs has put his Beverly Hills mansion up for sale for $61 million. Previously there were hints that the hip hop mogul was putting the apartment up for sale, but 'Page Six' has confirmed that it has gone on the market today.
Sources close to the rapper say that the sale "is not a surprise, after the recent controversies that have emerged around him".
They insist Combs planned to sell the home — which was searched by Homeland Security as part of an investigation in March, though Combs has never been charged with anything.
The property is said to be located in Los Angeles' Platinum Triangle, which includes Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air.
The home is along an area known as "Billionaire's Row," where nearby neighbors include Kylie Jenner, tech moguls Evan Spiegel and Sean Parker, music greats Irving Azoff and Jimmy Iovine, fashion scion Alexandra Von Furstenberg, and legendary mansions of Playboy.
Diddy bought the property 10 years ago for $40 million. The two-story mega-residence on 1.3 acres includes 13,000 square feet of living space.
There is a theater that holds 35 guests, plus a two-story guest house with a large gym, recording studio and additional guest bedrooms.
