Victoria Kjaer, the 21-year-old ballerina from Denmark, has been announced as the winner of Miss Universe 2024, bringing a historic triumph to her country. This is the first time in decades that Denmark has grabbed this prestigious title on the international beauty stage.
Known for her likeness to a Barbie doll, Kjaer became a fan favorite and attracted global attention from the start of the race. With a successful career as a ballerina and a ranking in the Top 20 of Miss Grand International 2022, she came to this pageant prepared to shine.
The 73rd edition of Miss Universe brought together contestants from over 70 countries, offering a fierce competition. Candidates from Nigeria, Mexico, Thailand and Venezuela were among the standouts, but Kjaer shone with a combination of charisma, intelligence and stunning stage presence.
