The summer of 1997 changed the recent history of the British royal family. On the night of August 31, the car in which Lady Di, the ex-wife of the current King Charles III and mother of Prince William and Harry, was traveling crashed into a Paris tunnel.
Although there have always been conspiracy theories, the authorities solved the case as a traffic accident as a result of being chased by paparazzi.
Almost 27 years later, Telecinco's 'Fiesta' program revealed the existence of an anonymous letter arriving at Scotland Yard which would demonstrate that Lady Di's death was indeed premeditated.
"It's a letter that arrived at Scotland Yard on behalf of the chief constable at the time, a letter headed 'Diana to die in September' and, as we later found out, Diana died on August 31, just a few hours before the letter ", explained Concha Calleja in the Mediaset program.
The colleague claimed that she had "a copy of the original" and that the truth is "safe" in one of the safes that Scotland Yard has in its possession.
What does the letter sent to Scotland Yard say?
"I know a car accident is being planned for Diana. The royal car will crash into a tunnel and kill the princess. The plan will be implemented sometime in September, probably in the middle of the month. Don't try to stop us, you risk losing the Queen and the country signed: a dangerous person,” read Veronica Dulanto.
The expert showed that Lady Di herself knew that these threats existed and that she always repeated the same question when getting into the car: "Will today be the day?".
