The interview that Shqipe Hysenaj gave for 'Live from Tirana' was characterized by a strong statement regarding the famous singer Parashqevi Simaku. According to rumors she had heard from Albanian immigrants in America, the former contestant of 'Përputhen' said that 'Parashqevi ended up on the street because she took other people's husbands.'
The reaction of Elton Ilirjani, who sheltered and provided assistance to Parashqevi Simaku after she was found in a train station in New York last December, was immediate, coming to the defense of the Albanian icon.
Initially, Elton shared Shqipe's statement on InstaStory and wrote harshly: "Albania, this love and compliment is dead." He added that this is a "crossroads for all the slanderers/gossip people of the neighborhood and cafes."
Subsequently, Elton Ilirjani published a series of videos where he categorically denied every accusation raised by Shqipe Hysenaj.
He further announced that this matter will not end there and that it will be pursued through legal channels.
This reaction shows that the businessman is determined to protect the name and dignity of Parashqevi Simaku, by taking the rumor issue to Court.
