Inida Gjata, also known as Zhaku, after a name her neighbors gave her since she was a child, was once a very well-known public figure. Zhaku has tried her hand at being a singer, presenter, actress, and an artist in many dimensions.
After the detailed interview in 'Profil', Zhaku has also chosen to speak on 'Live from Tirana', mentioning a shocking fact, even though it is widely rumored 'under the breath'.
"Legalizing prostitution is a business that is going on. It is in Albania, it is full of it. I believe it happens in all walks of life. Even in the world of showbiz it is very visible. A large part of the video clips is a kind of advertisement that escorts make. Most of it is to sell themselves as escorts. They do it as singers. I believe they sell themselves expensively because the life they lead is expensive."
What benefits would legalization bring?!
"Make them self-employed, introduce taxes, introduce them into the system, it's the reality.. It would create social peace, people would be calmer. Here everyone is incriminated. The people who are involved in this are some of the most intelligent people. This service has been offered for 30 years. These are services that in Albania are offered with more skills and professionalism."
