After losing 4-1 to Arsenal on the penultimate day of last year, Aston Villa took to the field today for the first time in 2026. The team led by Unai Emery defeated Nottingham Forest with a clean score of 3-1 at "Villa Park".

Aston Villa wins 3-1 and currently holds second place in the Premier League after 20 matches, with 42 points, three points less than first-place Arsenal.
