Barcelona is the first finalist of the Spanish Super Cup, which is also taking place in Saudi Arabia this year, in the “Final Four” format. In Jeddah, in the first semi-final between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, the Catalans secured the final thanks to a resounding 5-0 victory.
Barcelona first found the goal in the 22nd minute, when Runi Barxhi passed to Fermin Lopez, the latter started to shoot, but the ball ended up in Ferran Torres, who sent it into the net.
In the 30th minute, Rafinaj assisted nicely in the area, Fermin Lopez with a light left-footed shot inside the area, sent the ball into the net. In the 34th minute, Barcelona found the third goal with Runi Barxhi. The Swede scores, thanks to Unai Simon's blunder.
In the 38th minute, it was Rafinha's turn to find the goal. After receiving a ball from Runi Barxhi, the Brazilian penetrated beautifully on the left wing, entered the area and with a left-footed shot, sent the ball into the net. The first half ended 4-0 for the Catalans.
At the beginning of the second half, Rafinha scored his second personal goal and the fifth for the Catalans, after several consecutive attempts. The score did not change until the end, Barcelona wins 5-0 and awaits the winner of the Real Madrid-Atlético Madrid match in the final, a match that will be played the next day at 20:00.
