After drawing with Real Betis a week ago, Barcelona returned to winning ways. The Catalans showed their cynicism and defeated Leganes by a minimal score of 1-0 in the 31st week of La Liga.
The first half did not have many chances and ended in a goalless draw.
At the start of the second half, the Catalans opened the scoring thanks to an own goal. A ball from Rafinha, assisted by Lewandowski, was sent into the net by Saenz, in his own goal.
With this victory, Barcelona holds the sole first place with 70 points, while Leganés "swims in troubled waters", as it ranks 19th with 28 points.
