The Albanian derby in the Conference League belongs to Drita. The Kosovar team defeated Shkëndija Tetovo with a minimum score of 1-0 and is very close to qualifying for the first time in their history in the round of 16.
Arb Manaj was the hero of the team led by Zekerija Ramadani with the goal scored in the 21st minute.
After a cross from Besnik Krasniqi, Manaj beat the away goalkeeper with an easy volley to give his team the lead. Drita was better for most of the match, where they created some actions, but were far from finalizing.
Meanwhile, Shkëndija attempted several counterattacks, but they also did not have any chance to threaten Faton Maloku's goal. The atmosphere in “Fadil Vokrri” was excellent, where both the fans of Drita “Intelektualët” and Shkëndija’s “Ballistët” did not stop singing.
With this victory, Drita climbs to 8th place with 8 points, while Shkëndija e Tetovo holds 25th place with 4 points.
